If you live in an old house, keeping them warm during the long winter months can be quite a challenge. Many of the homes around the world, especially the older ones, are cold and drafty which consequently means spending more on electricity to maintain a pleasantly warm temperature.
Fortunately, there is one particular trick that can help you save on electricity and keep your home warm.
YouTuber DaveHax explains that all you need to make your home more efficient is a pair of nylon stockings and two used wrapping paper rolls.
Begin with cutting the nylon stockings so that you end up with one leg only. Then, insert both of the paper rolls inside the stocking side-by-side.
Gently pull them apart and slide them on either side of the bottom of your doors so that the nylon section of the stockings is underneath the doors. Once you close the doors, you will instantly notice that there is no draft coming from underneath.
Indeed a simple and inexpensive trick, Yet it can save you hundreds on your electricity bill.
