How to Stop Snoring Permanently Using a Tennis Ball

February 6, 2019 By Mike Thurstone

Do you or someone you know snore while sleeping?

Anyone who thinks that snoring is bad only for those who sleep next to a person that snore is wrong.

Some people might think that snoring is harmless; however, soring can cause serious complications, such as sleep apnea.

This disorder affects the persons normal breathing for a few seconds over and over again during the night, preventing them from ever reaching a night of deep sleep.

What does this do?

People suffering from sleep apnea usually wake up tired and moody. They are also more likely to develop hypertension, diabetes, heart problems, etc.

If you regularly snore at night, you should pay close regard to some habits in order to evade further complications.

Being overweight, drinking alcohol too often, respiratory allergies and dental arch issues are some of the factors that are contributory to snoring.

A straightforward way to avoid snoring is by paying close attention to your sleeping position. One of the worst position is sleeping with on your back. This position is effected by gravity which retracts the narrow air passage with the help of your tongue.

If you are one of those people that love this position try this great trick to end snoring: use a tennis ball. All you have to do is sew a tennis ball to the back of your pyjama top.

By doing so, the tennis ball will prevent you from sleeping on your back favouring a position in which you are less likely to experience difficulties breathing and snoring.

If you sleep on your back, the ball will create pressure on your back, making it uncomfortable to continue sleeping and subsequently causing you to move sideways.

If you are not good with sewing, try using a piece of clothing with a pocket, in the back, and place the tennis ball in there.

Another great suggestion that works for some people is by using pillows around your body, in order to stop you from rolling to either side while sleeping.
