This 86-Year-Old Lost 120 Pounds By Walking In Her Living Room Every Day

With the new year in full sway, people throughout are hard at work on their resolutions to lose weight. One 86-year-old woman is confirming to herself and everyone else in the world that you do not need an overpriced gym membership or home exercise equipment to get in shape.

Meet Jessica Slaughter, she lives alone in a one-bedroom apartment but succeeds to get all of her exercises in just walking around her house.

Because she fears of falling while walking outside, Slaughter gets in her steps by walking around her living room and kitchen in her small apartment.

It might not be perfect for some people however it works for Slaughter. She was in her 70s when she decided that she needed to take command of her health and lose weight.

Earlier in her life, Mrs Slaughter used to indulge in unhealthy food such as fried chicken and cake, she now practices a vegan diet full of fruits and vegetables.

Before she had engaged herself to a more healthy lifestyle, Slaughter had been pre-diabetic.

Nowadays she claims that she is healthier than ever.

She has harnessed the power of technology to help her on her quest. Her Fitbit watch keeps track of her daily actions so that she knows she is reaching all of her goals.
