Quokkas Are Indeed The ‘World’s Happiest Animal’ and We Have The Proof

December 21, 2019 By Mike Thurstone

If you are one of those who have never seen a quokka before, get ready for a cuteness overload!

Quokkas are Australian native animals, found on Bald and Rottnest Island. They share slightly similar looks with the kangaroos because they come from the same family – the Macropodidae.

Usually referred to as the ‘happiest wild animals on the planet,’ quokkas have the sweetest little smile, and they appear to radiate positive energy.

And what’s the most unique feature that separates them from most of the other wild animals?

  • They looove being photographed, and they are not scared of humans.

At first, these animals seem very cute and lovable. However, they are not suitable for pets, and anyone seen handling quokkas can receive a fine of up to $300 Australian dollars.

Check out some of the most adorable snaps taken from quokkas by different people:

  1. Dancing Delilah

I love animals. All animals. I just live my beloved dog Delilah less than two weeks ago. My greif is beyond what I can describe. I am inconsolable.
Then I came up on these photos of Quokkas. And I smiled for the first time since my sweet Delilah died.

If there are no dogs in heaven or no cats or no
Quokkas then when I die I want to go where they go.Take me where the animals dwell.
