Quokkas are Australian native animals, found on Bald and Rottnest Island. They share slightly similar looks with the kangaroos because they come from the same family – the Macropodidae.
Usually referred to as the ‘happiest wild animals on the planet,’ quokkas have the sweetest little smile, and they appear to radiate positive energy.
And what’s the most unique feature that separates them from most of the other wild animals?
- They looove being photographed, and they are not scared of humans.
At first, these animals seem very cute and lovable. However, they are not suitable for pets, and anyone seen handling quokkas can receive a fine of up to $300 Australian dollars.
