January 16, 2019 By Mike Thurstone

It’s hard to find anyone who hasn’t suffered from muscle pain at least once in their life.

And when this excruciating pain happens, what do you do? Do you try to bear it or do you look for some cream or pain relief?

There are many different alternatives to help us deal with these kinds of issues.

Have you ever thought about how people used to treat these problems in the past?

Herbs such as rosemary have been used for decades for culinary and medicinal purposes.

As well as being a natural antibiotic and diuretic, rosemary is also widely used to improve digestion and liver function.

Another fantastic benefit of this herb is that it’s excellent for improving memory and for fighting stress and mental fatigue.

One of the best and most recommended ways to ingest rosemary is in a form of a tea.

However, a little-known benefit of rosemary is to use it for fighting pain and inflammation in our body.

In order for you to use rosemary as a natural treatment in this way, let us show you how to prepare rosemary alcohol.

Besides being great for bringing relief from muscular pain this ancient recipe is also beneficial for revitalizing muscles, fighting cellulite, stimulating circulation in our body as well as reducing muscle tension.

If you usually have regular back pain or other chronic pain, suffer from arthritis, tendonitis or even cramps, than you should try this rosemary alcohol recipe.

Ingredients

Bunch of fresh rosemary sprigs;
1 litre of alcohol (70%);

How to prepare it:

Put the rosemary bunch in a bottle or a glass jar and cover it with alcohol.

Let it sit for 15 days in a low light and airy room.

Shake the bottle daily.

The longer you let it sit, the better and more concentrated the solution will be.

When the alcohol is ready, store it in a sealed container.

To use it simply apply the mixture to the affected area and massage firmly.

Remember to wash your hands after applying it, as it should not come in contact with your eyes or mucous membranes, this solution can cause irritation.
