Determining Your Weight Status Using BMI Categories If you want to put your result into perspective, you can look up what category it falls under. A healthy weight has a corresponding BMI of 18.5-25; overweight has a range of 25-29; obese has a range of 30-39; and morbidly obese has more than 40.
