A father named Gordon Hartman has created a $35 million theme park for his special-needs daughter.
He was present at a family holiday when he saw his then-12-year-old daughter, who has autism, struggle to make friends.
The experience motivated him to seek out a location where his daughter could meet people who understood autism and knew how to interact with her.
When he didnt find any, he decided to construct one himself – he named it Morgan’s Wonderland, a park where individuals of all abilities may play together.
People with physical or mental impairments are eligible for free entry into the park.

Gordon Hartman’s love for Morgan gave him the idea to sell his businesses in 2005 and establish the Gordon Hartman Family Foundation so that he and his wife, Maggie, might assist children and adults with disabilities.
He designed the theme park in such a way that people with and without disabilities are able to interact.

In addition, he believes that making things accessible is critical to acceptance and community among children.
A completely accessible train, playground, and Ferris wheel are just a few of the many attractions.
The park also has special wrist bands that can monitor visitors’ movements and is useful for individuals on the autism spectrum.
